In particular, client services coordinator Jenny White made us feel at ease when Max had to be admitted for overnight care and treatment. She was extremely compassionate, and treated Max as if he was her own pet. While Max may have a long road to recovery ahead, he is resting well at home. Thank you, again, to Jenny and Dr. Smail for taking care of him in a great time of need!

While her care of our Dandie Dinmonts, Midge and Tosh, has always been fantastic, it was her warmth and caring during Midge's last hours that solidified our opinion of Dr. Talbott as a first-rate doctor and human being. In the midst of a hectic schedule, she took an incredible amount of time examining Midge, running non-invasive tests, consulting with her oncologist, and then ensuring Midge had a peaceful and loving passing. We will be forever grateful. We have been bringing our pets to Alexandria Animal Hospital for over 25 years, and will continue to do so, thanks not only to the the professional and competent care they receive, but to the genuine affection and warmth they get from wonderful people like Dr. Talbott.

I just wanted to write you to thank you for your exemplary customer service. My wife and I had brought one of our cats in for a vaccination from which the cat developed some sneezing. Concerned with the symptoms, we called and contacted one of the nurses, who patiently explained the situation an put our minds at ease.
Its great that in this town where high levels of service are hard to find, Alexandria Animal Hospital works so hard to ensure that they retain a courteous and knowledgeable staff willing to address any and all concerns.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks to Dr. Bridget Shirley's thorough exam and treatment, he is now weaning off pain medications and feels great! I am so thankful to live so close to AAH.

It was peaceful for Katy and myself and I was able to handle the situation much easier. She was very kind and understanding and I am glad she is the one that helped Katy to the Rainbow Bridge.
Posted By : Jana Erickson Posted : 10/23/2008 Comments : Since Memorial Day weekend 2008, the wonderful staff at Alexandria Animal Hospital helped keep my beloved cat, Covington, going through late September 2008. Although I undoubtedly have forgotten some, I recall the care and kindness of Drs. Allen, Augustine, Bartl, Chiang, Dannis, Nelson and Shirley. During Covington's last weekend in ICU, Dr. Nelson guided me through the very difficult decision to say goodbye to Covington and ease her pain. Gratefully, Dr. Augustine attended to Covington on the evening of September 23, 2008, as I said my final goodbye to Covington. I will never forget Dr. Augustine's kindness and the gentle way she assisted Covington out of her earthly pain and to the "Rainbow Bridge". I am so grateful for the time she gave us to say our final goodbye and the peaceful atmosphere she created in Covington's final moments. Although I miss her each day, I am comforted knowing that she did not suffer any pain in her final moments and left knowing that she was loved... So thank you to everyone who helped us throughout this difficult spring and summer and during her Covington's final hours. You will always have a special place in my heart for allowing me to say goodbye in the kindest way possible... With endless gratitude! -- Jana

Palmer Posted : 3/20/2007 Comments : Just wanted to thank Dr. Talbott and the entire staff for all the professional and loving treatment they gave to Chief during the past several years and especially during his last days. Your facility is world-class. However, it is the caring people operating it who really make it so. We'll never forget you. Sincerely, Rick & Holli Palmer.
Posted By : Karl Smith Posted : 1/28/2007 Comments : I never knew such service existed online. You are the one that provide help by phone, and made everything possible to help us. You will still remain the number one veterinary community out there.
Thanks for your support, and wonderful service. We feel that our pets should be very well treated and you satisfy this need and more.
Thank You.

We wouldn't have made it without your support. Thanks especially to Dr. Farrell, Dr. Baxter, Jerry and Melissa - you are all wonderful, and it was your kindness that helped us get through this terrible time. We miss our little boy, but we know that you did everything you could to save him, and we're so happy to know that you'll be there whenever his sister, Tasha, needs you.

Posted : 12/24/2006 Comments : When we first rescued our beagle/dachsund mix, Jersey, she saw Dr. Farrell and we left with a confident feeling knowing we were in good hands. Our 6 month appt was with Dr. Cohen, again a wonderful experience for Jersey and for us. We ran into an emergency on
Christmas Eve morning where Jersey had an allergic reaction. Dr. Chiang was working and from start to finish she and her team were top-notch. At 6am we arrived in a state of panic and after some monitoring and treatment Jersey was on her way to feeling better. We can't thank you all enough for the continuous effort to make our visits a success for both Jersey and for us.

Posted By : Mary Anne King Posted : 9/17/2006 Comments : The comments made before mine already cover how I feel about your staff and your service, but I wanted to add my note anyway. Your staff is fantastic!! I appreciate everything you guys have done, and are doing for my Robin (I know he can get a little difficult, but that's just because he is frightened). I especially want to thank Dr. Farrell and Dr. Terrio. You guys are great!! Thanks.
Posted By : John Blizard Posted : 9/15/2006 Comments : Thanks to all the staff and especially Dr. Krochak, for your competent, professional, and compassionate care during Bubba's recent eye problems. It's never a sure thing when a 16 year old dog has to undergo emergency surgery, but she pulled through and is now recovering. I knew beforehand that she was in the best, most caring hands possible, no matter what the outcome. Thank you again for all that you do to help me take care of Bubba and the baby (he's only 14) of the family, Dozer!!

Every single person I came in contact with there had a friendly smile on their face, and made Carmen and I feel much at home. Thank you again.

The front desk is manned by frienly and efficient staff and the techs take a genuine interest in our 4 legged family. The Doctors are top notch and take time to see to the needs of the human companions as well as the patients. A very big thanks to Dr. Farrell, Dr. Terrio, Dr. Krochack and Dr. Bartyl for helping our Peter through a very difficult period. Hugs go out to Vet Tech Airee, and hospital staff Kanika, Jerry and Becky.

I would like to thank Dr. Cohen for his compassion and for his kind note after Miss Kitty left us. We know that she did not suffer any pain, and that helps to ease our pain as well.
